Assistance with these activities is provided by
Personal Support Workers from the Supportive
Housing Services
Department. Residents
are assessed to determine
if they qualify to receive
the free services, which
are funded by the
provincial government
through the local LHIN
(
Local Health Integration
Network), which falls under the Ministry of Health
and Long-Term Care.
When Supportive Housing Services can no longer
meet the needs of a resident, the resident may apply
to move to a Long-Term Care facility. Long-term
