HE DELAWARE HEALTHCARE
ASSOCIATION
is about advocacy and
representation for our member hospitals.
With a membership of eight – which includes
all of the state’s general acute care hospitals -- we
don’t have a market for shared service provision or
consulting services beyond some basic information
gathering and educational programming. We focus
on representing hospitals in our mission to deliver
excellent, high-quality healthcare. We support this
focus with an aggressive agenda aimed at quality
improvement and information provision surrounding
health matters and policy development.
Our touchstone is effectiveness in helping to shape
the environment within which healthcare is delivered
in our state and in the United States through our
work with the American Hospital Association. This
means developing and maintaining relationships
with governmental decision makers and being seen
as a credible and effective partner in fostering an
