Australia is facing a projected shortfall of workers
estimated at a shortage of a couple hundred thousand

problems in the community sector is that a lot of the
work is casual or part
time because clients
only need assistance at
specific times in the day
-
say from eight to ten in
the morning, and then
again from four to six
in the afternoon. This
makes a big hiatus in the
middle of the day where
skilled workers are not
working.”
