is electrophysiology which – as Pitta explains - is also
an area of great activity for the company. “This is the
area that deals with the electrical part of the heart that
provides mechanisms for the allocation of the heart in

D, ablation generators, and other products such as
catheters.”
St. Jude also offers solutions in the focus of
heart structures. Two years ago, the company
acquired AGA Medical and began to market a wide
range of devices that are used to treat structural
defects of the heart and vascular anomalies through
minimally invasive percutaneous treatments.
