Micro Calcification Enhancement (MCE) is an intelligent
algorithm that detects potential micro-calcifications or clusters. It
facilitates reading by applying a subtle enhancement of potential
micro-calcifications while preserving their shape without
disturbing the overall visual context.
The intensity of the enhancement can be configured. And
the visualization engine creates a new processed image with
additional enhancement of detected micro-calcifications to raise
the efficiency of your workflow. The original image and the MCE
image are stacked so radiologists can easily switch between the
