We’ve just bought just over an acre opposite our
current site which means we have about 1.6 acres
because we have another bit of land to the side of us
already to develop onto. Amongst other investments, we
plan to build another factory,” says Herrmann.
The company had modest roots, beginning due to the
whim of Derek’s father, Nigel Herrmann, who had always
wanted to manufacture plastic bottles.

He sold his other businesses and went into
