our Executive Vice-President, has long headed our
quality initiatives and been instrumental in providing
hospital support of Delaware’s excellent emergency
preparedness system. She is finishing up our On The
CUSP campaign, in which every non-profit hospital
in the state participated in the collaborative to reduce
hospital acquired infections – the highest rate of
participation in any state. Health Policy Director Lisa
Schieffert spearheaded the launch for our new website
delawarehealthtracker.com, a dashboard presentation
of over one hundred and twenty health and quality
of life indicators we will use along with our United
Way of Delaware partner to plan for state-wide action
aimed at addressing identified health needs. She is
also managing our association’s Donate Life Delaware
effort, a partnership with Gift of Life aimed at setting
Delaware’s organ donor designee rate at 50% of our
state’s population. Program Manager Christine Pauley
coordinates our educational offering and has worked
hard to see our association’s annual health forum
