to further enhance staffing resources. In addition to
this level of staffing the Lodge also actively recruits
volunteers to supplement their efforts. There are 220
volunteers who, with their combined hours, offer the
equivalent of another 10 staff.
“
There is very little staff turnover here,” says
Woodcox. “The consistency in our staffing leads to
the staffing being very aware of the specific needs of
the residents and their families.”
Woodcox started her own career as a public health
