nurse arriving in Hamilton in 1974. She has worked in
a variety of programs including Public Health, Ontario
Works (welfare), Housing and Homelessness, and
assumed full responsibility for the LTC Homes in 2007.
She says: “What has always impressed me is the
care and compassion of the staff working here. People
might say that this is not the most brand new home
available, but the care the staff provide is second to
none. I know they do an excellent job.”
